Hello Janico… sbnmerlin has been awesome for awhile now, so much that I have completely forgotten about it! But it has stopped passing internet to clients on br6. The only thing that I may have changed is two days ago I updated all the entware packages via AMTM. Are you aware of any issues that...
I am having trouble following the custom packet filtering rules example in the FAQ. I would like devices on wl0.2 to have only access to a single IP on my regular network. If I understand correctly, In sbnMerlin if set "allow_internet" and "onewayaccess" to 1, then I should make a file...
@janico82, your solution and new updated sbnMerlin version 1.2.4 now works perfectly with with the Dual Wan Failover script, doesn't miss anything switching between the two wans now. Thank you!!!
Will let you know if I run across anything else in further testing. Thanks again!
Hello @janico82. I am testing your sbnMerlin to isolate a dubious Windows corporate laptop on ethernet and so far your script is working very well at that.
Question: I use @Ranger802004 (honestly Asus-saving) Dual Wan Failover Script, but I notice when I test either wan failover or load...
Hello Ranger, appreciate your script very much. It's allowed me to move back to the Asus from an ER-X that I had to start using just for the failover. I have been using your script for a couple of months now and am currently using the latest beta and it works very well, but have run across a...

A:Option ==> views "name" domain.com redirect 192.168.1.xxx
What am I doing wrong?
I recently started testing "AdGuard Home" running on a local always on macos server as a back up to unbound with adblocking running on a AC-86U used as an accesspoint. Not that I can tell much of a difference in real life, but it's actually so much faster than the Asus, that I switched it it to...
I run my unbound on an ac-86u running as access point with the only other software running being connmon and have similar namebench results as abracadabra with unbound being the slowest average result. But if I rerun namebench several times in a row it speeds up significantly for a bit. But...
Thanks for update. I too use an ethernet connected LTE modem and my experience was similar but havn't tried 384.19 yet. I think I will hold off again for awhile before testing a switch back to the Asus back to being my primary router instead of just an access point.
I wonder how load balancing...
