@ColinTaylor So, after a lot of to and fro with my ISP, I've come to know that the ONT is not capable of sending both VLANs on the same port. I'll need a switch for that. Should I go for a managed switch or will any do?
You are right. I tried binding the ONT's LAN port connected on the WAN side of the router and it worked (after enabling IGMP, of course). Looks like I'll have to see how I can combine both the internet and IPTV to the same LAN port of the ONT. What are my options?
I'm also talking with my ISP...
BTW one of the LAN ports is checked in the "Binding Options" on my internet configuration (not shown in the screenshot) to enable internet connectivity on that particular port (which is connected to the WAN port of my router). Unchecking all didn't get me any internet.
My firmware version is 3.0.0.4.388_23285. I've already tried the above configuration but it somehow stops my internet as well.
My ISP is Optix here in Pakistan.
I recently bought an ASUS RT-AX86U router and set my old ISP-provided Huawei ONT (HG8546M) to bridge mode. However, I am not able to bridge the IPTV connection even after manually setting the VLAN ID and priority in AX86U's IPTV configuration. How can I do that?
I've attached the screenshots...
