    Hi, I have a RT-N66U running last Merlin 380.70 and a spare one with the fork (Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS (V43E6)). Can I copy the config from one to the other, so I have a drop-in-replacement if the first is broken?

    Well the kernel means quite a lot to me because I don't think that Asus, BCM oder even the maintainers here (which I consider to be the good ones) have enough time on their hands to manually backport all patches. ASUS had a problem with this in the past (Link)...

    Hi crowd. I find it quite a bit disturbing that we use a kernel that has been out since 2010, are there any wireless routers out there that use modern kernels (i.e. the LTS series 4.9, 4.4 or 4.14)? Jan

    Does this release of this fork contain the fixes for CVE-2018-8877, CVE-2018-8878 and CVE-2018-8879 released with asuswrt 382 version?

    Hmm... Without knowing, I assumed the different merlin firmwares were build on top of a common core with only drivers being different...

    Hi crowd, I did not find an answer using search, so please forgive me if it has been asked before: The RT-N66U is still officially supported by ASUS, who just released Version 3.0.0.4.382.50470 a couple of weeks ago. Q: What is / are are the reason(s) that merlin dropped RT-N66U support?

    Locked myself out

    Was up early and made a reset, thank you anyway. I got " --> Entware device change detected" when running AB-solution, but paths were corrected. Strange, as I have verified that the microsd is mounted in the same place as before, it has a label... any idea why this happens? The dnsmasq config...

I added an IP restriction and ticked "ssh", but now seem to be locked out of my router: I can no longer access my router via the web interface, nor via ssh from the inside (which seems logical since I forgot...
