Used Asus app on my iPhone to update my AC-RT68U to .386....I know, always use the Asus WRT web GUI... Five minutes passed and the message said Firmware Update Failed... Check the firmware again....It was indeed updated with no issues...! And no, I don't have airmesh or guest network setups...
Anyone knows if I skip updating to 20632, the next Asus new firmware notice will replace this one? Or, I have to update to 632 first in order to get the new firmware?
Just saw this new firmware today (03/12/2020 - 3 pm PST):
-Release Note-
Bug Fixes and Enhancements:
1. Fixed CVE-2019-15126 ("Kr00k") vulnerability
Is this important or can you skip it?
When you get a chance can you please check the visible code changes in this release to confirm? Similar observation was pointed to the previous firmware version 3.0.0.4.385_10000. My theory is if it ain't broke, don't fix it...!
I could not use the the web GUI on my PC so I used Asus iPhone app to update to 81049 on my 68U. It went smoothly but after the router power cycle I still cannot access the GUI with PC either thru the router's IP address or via router.asus.com ?!
