I have USB3 disabled. After turning off Smart Connect, it's been mostly ok.

I’m still having this issue, 2.4G just stops operating. I am planning on adding a script that reboots the 2.4G radio if no devices are connected with 2 checks 10s in between. I might also turn off SmartConnect and go from there. Here is what it looks like when the 2.4G freezes.

Finally figured it out, connecting anything USB3 to the Shield TV creates massive interference on all 2.4G devices BT and WiFi. Even with shielded extension cables and ferrite cores it was unusable.

Yes, I believe that it worked for me. I just didn't wanna run it like that forever.

Dunno but right now my is running @: 2.4 GHz: 54°C - 5 GHz: 57°C - CPU: 74° hw acc off, AiProtection stuff on.

I have been waiting for the 8.0 Oreo update hoping that it would fix my Shield TV interference issues. It arrived the other day and my 2.4G has been working since. Bluetooth keyboard is still short ranged but not sure if it related. Edit: But the issue is now back again. Shield TV interferes...

2.4G is on Auto. I changed manually and Apply set my channel correctly, checked with my iMac.

Of course, I don't need to restart, I only need to restart_httpd. I should have thought of that :) No I think my wifi settings sticks OK, that or I've not been attentive...

I have tried the enable and pre-eptive. It didn't help. This device use wifi-direct for the old controllers, but disconnecting them didn't help. I'm running on Ethernet cable but the wifi can't be turned off. I've found another user with possibly the same problem here...

Yes, Asus-WRT works, but not tomato, dd-wrt or open-wrt, because of the bootloader, right? Oh, didn't know that. But how come dd-wrt is in the works for R8000P with the same CPU? Did Broadcom only lock the bootloader for Asus? My nr. 1 choice is your merlin mod but having a choice is never a bad...

Ok, just to be clear. I don't believe I have the 2.4G WiFi problems as the rest in this thread anymore. I had the same problems I have now with my R7000.
