    So after further trouble shooting. Power settings really had no effect. The one thing that made a big difference was locking the channel and then checking behavior.     Thanks L&LD Looks like power savings mode on s22Ultra was the cause. It's locking in @160 now that I disabled that.

    Simply set the TV to manual and configure the ip. It will remain static just fine. One point I start all of my DHCP clients at .100 I use all the ips from .2 to .99 for my static groups. So my Sony tv is static at .55 and can't interfere with DHCP call out.

    Odd I stopped rebooting my router every week. Tired of my IOT plugs hanging on the wrong router after reboots. Its up for 29 days now Looks like the traffic monitor quit working..... Ill reboot it and see what happens .....

    My 86u and 86s have auto update disabled. As flaky as the asus firmware is,I also would be selling these routers if they updated on their own. Never had these issues on my netgear routers. I wonder at times why this router is so highly rated with all the firmware issues? They need more competent...
