Need to Block DHCP from traveling across site-to-site TAP VPN Tunnel.

Adding this here so I don't have to 'make study' every time I forget what I did... 0. On the client router, enable SSH access in the Administration->System->Service menu if not enabled yet, Apply changes. 1. Connect to the client router's console via ssh and check your script file directory...

Help setting up VLAN on ASUS RT-AC68U

    Bridge WAN to LAN port

I can create a bridge by choosing: Select ISP Profile: None Choose IPTV STB Port: LAN4 ...but no tagged packets pass through to LAN4. This makes no sense.

    Bridge WAN to LAN port

I mean, check out the IPTV section on TP-Link routers, it looks so simple: Advanced/Network/IPTV Just build a bridge to a port and connect STB to it, no fussing around with vlan tags, no igmp disabled due to hw conflict nonsense.

    Bridge WAN to LAN port

I found two vlan IDs using wireshark, tried each of them on LAN4 (with Internet VID left empty) but it does not work.

    Bridge WAN to LAN port

Well, WAN-LAN4 would be a trunk, the router would only handle untagged packets on it's own subnet (assigned by ISP dhcp based on wan mac), everything else gets handled by the STB (works with tagged and un-tagged packets on subnets assigned by ISP dhcp based on STB mac). I'm not sure this can...

    Bridge WAN to LAN port

Manual settings only allow you to set one speciffic vlan ID for WAN and LAN3 / LAN4. In my case I need WAN - LAN4 to be bridged, so tagged AND un-tagged packets get forwarded, just like on a switch.

    Bridge WAN to LAN port

I wasn't able to find a solution for this... I see TP-Link routers have the option to bridge one of the LAN ports to WAN for IPTV functionality, this WAN-LAN link then behaves like a switch, passing tagged and un-tagged packets (as I understand it). Need this to connect my ISPs STB using...

Explain what IPTV settings actually do in IOS terminology?

I don't get this feature myself. In my case I'm getting internet (untagged) and IPTV (tagged) on a single cable from provider. This means I have to connect behind the ISP set-top-box which (older model with 100mb integrated switch) which I don't like. What I need is a feature, which bridges...
