Why is it necessary to disable those features? Can't you just leave them on? Is there some harm if they are left on?

Sounds like 6E devices are not just around the corner. Totally missed the RT-AX86U. Seems to be a very powerful device but slightly cheaper than AX88U. I'll at least wait for reviews before buying anything. No rush here.
