Update...so he came home from work today after talking to PlayStation and Spectrum and it mysteriously is working ..he said he's not sure why because when he talked to spectrum they were no help . So my guess is maybe PlayStation looked into his account and maybe found he was banned /blacklisted...

Welp he got a reply from PlayStation...

I'm not sure he actually gets an error it's just when he goes to connect to the network it fails to connect to PlayStation network everytime when he runs the test ...he's tried doing some tricks with DNS etc to no avail also

So my son recently bought a Rt -BE82U and he has Spectrum as his ISP. The router and everything that was connected to it worked fine for about 2 months. All of a sudden his area kept getting random outages and after that his PS5 started acting funny and now he cannot connect to PlayStation...
