[Sort of SOLVED] Slow Wifi Upload for XT8 on Verizon Fios

I am 100% with you in having wasted so much money on the XT8s - I'm never buying ASUS again.

[Sort of SOLVED] Slow Wifi Upload for XT8 on Verizon Fios

FWIW, I paid about $80 USD for a piece of hardware that solved the literally scores of hours I have spent trying to get my XT8s to do what they were supposed to do in the first place. The XT8 features are of no use to me if the U/D speeds are garbage. My recommendation to anyone who has...

[Sort of SOLVED] Slow Wifi Upload for XT8 on Verizon Fios

A very common problem for Verizon Fios users is that ASUS routers do not provide the most utterly basic functionality in terms of delivering speeds remotely approaching what you are paying for from your ISP or from your router manufacturer...But, you know this. Why on earth would I care about...

[Sort of SOLVED] Slow Wifi Upload for XT8 on Verizon Fios

Just tested from about 25-30 feet away from the nearest AP that is in a closet and I got 602/501. I'm done banging my head with this system ;-)

[Sort of SOLVED] Slow Wifi Upload for XT8 on Verizon Fios

Hello everyone, I thought I'd share my latest experiment which appears to have solved my biggest issues with my XT8 system. I originally started with a 4 unit XT8 mesh system on Verizon Fios with a 400/400 plan. Wired speeds were 500/500 (not a typo) but on wireless I could never get above...

Workaround or fix for slow upload speeds on Asus Zenwifi XT8 w/Verizon Fios?

This is another example of why this HW is maddening. I'm going to assume you're on the latest firmware and that your XT8s are in AP mode? Did you reboot both the APs and your router?

Workaround or fix for slow upload speeds on Asus Zenwifi XT8 w/Verizon Fios?

Having read a bunch of threads on this, I have made some tweaks to my Wireless and Professional settings. It's by no means perfect, but I am now getting 700/300 with the XT8s set in AP mode. I've attached them here. This is for the 5Ghz-2 band.

Workaround or fix for slow upload speeds on Asus Zenwifi XT8 w/Verizon Fios?

I just tried turning off the radios from the ASUS router to see if that would positively affect the APs...no dice.

Are XT8 nodes hardwired to a AX3000 router in "AP mode" by default?

i was finally able to switch all the XT8s to AP Mode...curiously, two of the nodes decided to connect to two other APs as opposed to being fully separated. That said, it did NOT resolve the fact that none of the network can support uploads above 250 Mbps despite the router doing ~950 u/d

Are XT8 nodes hardwired to a AX3000 router in "AP mode" by default?

Sorry to be thick. I reset the node and re-added it, but it did not give me the option to set it in AP mode.

Are XT8 nodes hardwired to a AX3000 router in "AP mode" by default?

So I went to each node's IP address and it redirected back to the main router. Any thoughts?

Are XT8 nodes hardwired to a AX3000 router in "AP mode" by default?

How do I do that? Do I need to log in to each individual node and set them to AP mode? I can't seem to find any option from the AX3000 router page

Are XT8 nodes hardwired to a AX3000 router in "AP mode" by default?

Question says it all. I've given up having my XT8s have proper wireless upload speeds (I'm on FiOS), so I put an ax3000 in front of them to see if I could make that improve things, but I'm not seeing any material improvements. Thanks!

Is RT-AX3000 lot better than RT-AC68U?
