spdMerlin Odd result upload speed after ISP change VLAN AX86U

Hi! yes, that's what I thought as well but with a wired laptop the results were fine all along (~940 Mbps). Also this week the results of SpdMerlin scrip remains fluctuating. The script worked fine on this router with my old ISP, so must be the new ISP. But with a wired laptop the speedtests...

spdMerlin Odd result upload speed after ISP change VLAN AX86U

Hi All, been a while since last been here as everything was running super smooth for years. Since a few weeks I’ve switched ISP’s. Both at a 1 Gbps subscription and still over the same fiber but other service provider. This new provider (Odido Netherlands, former T-mobile) uses a VLAN for...

Would there be any interest if I added integrations to my addons, e.g. healthcheck.io, conditional notifications (e.g. email, Discord webhook)?

Hi Jack, Only came across this nice integration now! After using Conmon for several years already... One question I hope you or others can help with; the cron runs every 30 min which I would like to shorten. I've checked the regular cron file (crontab -e) but couldn't find a line regarding the...

Case need there could be limited options for Guest1 which syncs to other nodes while Guest2 and Guest3 keep the full options?

    YazFi YazFi and AiMesh 2.0

Hi Yack, Is there any chance you will be able to get YazFi working on the Aimesh synced Guest network?

spdMerlin spdMerlin - stuck Upgrading database

Hi all, Since last update spdMerlin did not show any results in the graphs anymore and scheduled test were not running. Logged into AMTM via SSH and when trying to open de spdMerlin option (j4) I received below message. Restarted the router, tried to remove the scrip manually for re-install but...

    Solved Aimesh high packet loss

Just to close off on this topic. After a little while I started experience the same problems again. So I did more digging and finally found out what caused it, I'm now also able to reproduce the issue. It was the Guest Network sharing over de AiMesh nodes. As soon as I active it (only possible...

    Solved Aimesh high packet loss

Must admit I didn’t have much faith in these tips as they were mostly WiFi related. But as I wasn’t making any progress I started anyway and I must say it actually worked! Not sure which action did the trick but I only changed three settings: Set a LAN domain name Changed WiFi preamble to...

    Solved Aimesh high packet loss

Thanks for that! At first sight many tips are for WiFi but with my setup even the wired devices have packetloss. Will walk trough them anyway, starting with a fresh reset again can never harm.

    Solved Aimesh high packet loss

I tried AiMesh because of easy maintenance and ability to set guest network from the Nodes since the AiMesh 2.0 update. Due to the package loss issues I'm now testing everything via Wired connections, just to avoid any possible issues related with WiFi signals. Another thing I just noticed...

    Solved Aimesh high packet loss

Indeed it seems to become better when only one node is connected but still 28% loss. It so strange that with the exact same hardware configuration but the nodes manually as Access Point this issues doesn't seem to appear. Then only the WiFi shows packet loss. Pinging google.com [172.217.20.78]...

    Solved Aimesh high packet loss

Thanks for your reply: Where is the "to" connection of your ping? The router? An internet host? -> I tried the router on 192.168.1.1 and google.com (which translates in my area to 172.217.17.46). Both have the same high loss. When they do reply it's in abt 2ms -> When I ping the AiMesh node...

    Solved Aimesh high packet loss

Hi All, I have a setup with 2 mesh nodes (ac68u) connected to a ac86u router, all connected wired. When the nodes are connected via manual setup (access point mode), the wired connections to the nodes are super stable (0% packet loss, 2ms ping). When I switch the setup to aimesh I get 70%...

AiMesh on 2 AC68U, 30-60 sec no internet when switching between routers

No issue here with AC86U router to AC68U node. Did notice you mention to also run the node on Asus-Merlin, I run the node on the stock firmware as the AIMesh part is closed source so no benefit anyway. Maybe that would help?
