YazFi YazFi and possible Bonjour/Airprint problem

I'm not sure how to check, but in this post, you concluded that the reflector wasn't enabled, based on the output I posted.

YazFi YazFi and possible Bonjour/Airprint problem

Thanks for helping to the extent you can, though! Even if it's YazFi-related, I should be able to find out by retracing steps. It's just that it's a pain—so many settings.

YazFi YazFi and possible Bonjour/Airprint problem

Ok, thanks, that helps me exclude YazFi as a culprit. I'll try reverting to default settings or vanilla ASUS firmware and see if I can narrow down the cause.

YazFi YazFi and possible Bonjour/Airprint problem

No, both the macbook and the printer are on the regular, non-5GHz network.

YazFi YazFi and possible Bonjour/Airprint problem

@Jack Yaz I'm reviving this question from the original YazFi thread from awhile ago regarding my Brother printer no longer being able to print via AirPrint/Bonjour after installing YazFi—Macbook connects to it fine, but gets stuck trying to print with "Printer is in use". Back then, I had shared...

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

I don't know, but this ServerFault answer seems to indicate yes. EDIT: well, that just confirms that Bonjour relies on mDNS. I don't know, but I think you're right that Airprint relies on Bonjour.

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

I'm sorry, I didn't get a notification about this! But thank you, the new version has solved the issue with incrementing client hostnames. Unfortunately, although it sounds like @marelit's printer issue was resolved, my access to my Brother printer via Airprint is still borked and it seems to...

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

Thanks! Just a note for others— I had to apply YazFi settings (unchanged) for the mDNS reflector change in v4.0.3 to stick.

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

Same problems here, I haven't been able to figure it out! I'm having these same issues with incrementing hostnames and bonjour printer access not working. Neither one or two-way traffic are enabled.

2 VPN Client and 2 WiFi SSID: how to route traffic

Steph, I'm new to all of this, but if you ask Martineau for his WiFiVPN.sh script, it will do that for you. Once you've installed it in /jffs/scripts, I believe you would call it from /jffs/scripts/nat-start like this: /jffs/scripts/WiFiVPN.sh MYWIFI_Guest1_VPN1 1 /jffs/scripts/WiFiVPN.sh...

2 VPN Client and 2 WiFi SSID: how to route traffic

I figured out what the problem was. After rebooting, my VLAN script tried to add vlan10 to br3 but Martineau's WiFiVPN.sh script hadn't yet been called, so there was no br3 yet. So instead, I placed the line connecting the VLAN to br3 brctl addif br3 vlan10 in nat-start after the line calling...

Force LAN port 4 to use the Guest network for Asus/merlin RT-AC68U

I was having this problem but I think that what fixed it was taking it from nat-startand putting it in firewall-start. I noticed yours is in services-start. You might try changing that. Thanks for this, this was helpful!

2 VPN Client and 2 WiFi SSID: how to route traffic

Thanks, that was enough of a clue that I was able to get a start. I’m using WiFiVPN.sh to connect to a VPN on Guest account 3, therefore it creates a bridge 3. So I edited the VLAN script to reference br3 instead of br0: robocfg vlan 1 ports "1 2 3 8t" robocfg vlan 10 ports "4 8t" vconfig add...
