Thank you. I aqcuired the R9000 some time ago after continuous problems with my previous (non netgear) router. I like the stock firmware, it is very stable, but i would like to have more functionality. I will flash your custom firmware tonight and give feedback on it shortly.

Could be. Is suggest sending it in for warranty if u still have warranty on it.

Mine ended up being a defect. I sent it in and got a replacment from the store i ordered it from. You could check your SNR as that was the indication mine was defect. (see my screenshots)

Did u ever get this working? Im interested since i have the same ISP. Getting internet working is no problem, but i would prefer the ASUS router to handle the IPTV vlan as well.. .:)

I installed it on AC5300 and it seems to be running stable.

You should be able to do so using recovery/rescue mode. Its is explained in your manual. Its also on the Asus site. (https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1000814) I suggest resetting to factory defaults before you do so.

I moved the router around the house but no dice. I checked with Wifi Analyzer, but i don't see the 2.4Ghz Network showing up at all. edit: im pretty sure its a hardware error. Since the router is only 10 days old im going to return it for a new one.

No, the clients don't even see the network show up at all. I've checked the settings several times.
