[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 (and 384.13_6) are now available

Is this, or will this ever be compatible with ZenWifi AX?

Asus ZenWifi AX Gigabit internet speed?

Factory reset fixed it :-) I've turned all the AI Protect, DoS, QoS etc on and it's still full speed.

Asus ZenWifi AX Gigabit internet speed?

Yes, running latest firmware. I was considering a factory reset to be honest, although it seems that others who have just similarly upgraded their broadband have similar issues, so may be an ISP issue.

Asus ZenWifi AX Gigabit internet speed?

Anyone got this router and can get full internet speed on a gigabit connection? I'm in the UK and I've upgraded to Fibre 900 with BT (910Mbps down, 110Mbps up). I can only get around 500-700Mbps on a gigabit wired client via the router. I've tried the obvious stuff like turning off QoS, AI...

    AC66U Wireless Issues

Just to say, the problems seem resolved now that I made sure the time zones were set the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    AC66U Wireless Issues

Thanks for the reply.. Whenever I do a firmware update, I hard reset the router, and manually configure from scratch. I also delete the wireless config on my phone. It doesn't fix the problem unfortunately :-( Edit : I did just notice that the time zones on the AC68 and AC66 were set...

    AC66U Wireless Issues

Hiya, I have a AC68U which I use as my main router, running the latest Merlin Firmware. I also have a AC66U running in AP mode. I am having issues with this one though, whereby after a day devices fail to connect to the wifi (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz). A power cycle fixes it for another day and...

    Wireless channels?

Thinking about it, I may be able to not bother with 2.4Ghz? All my devices are fairly recent and support N.

    Wireless channels?

Thanks for the reply :-) I am using INSSIDER, so I can see what is used. The reason I used the same SSID was so that the kids iPads/iPhones etc all just switched ok. Do you mean I should use 2 different SSID's on the two routers, or do you mean use 4 x SSID's? i.e. 1 for each band on each...

    Wireless channels?

I've just replaced my AC66U with an AC68U in the living room. I've put the AC66U connect with an ethernet cable on the other side of the house and set it to AP mode. At the moment, both routers are set to auto with regards the channels. I use the same SSID for both frequencies on both...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.32 is out

I'm going to return it - tried a range of different firmware now, and 5GHz doesn't ever show up as an SSID. Thanks for all the input :-)

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.32 is out

Hmm.. I split the 2.4 & 5GHz under different SSID's to do some testing - seems that the 5Ghz SSID never shows up - on Macbook and iOS devices. Changed to beta 3 firmware (with a factory reset) as suggested above, and still the same problem. I also tried the latest official firmware, and the...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.32 is out

I've just replaced my RT-N66U with a RT-AC66U (RT-N66U had faulty ethernet ports) and am running this Merlin firmware. Wired I'm getting 74Mbps down and 15Mbps up which is what I would expect. Wireless is appalling compared to the old RT-N66U though, I'm getting 45Mbps down and .41Mbps up...
