I've looked to see if this unit can be bridge but I can find nothing regarding how to even get into that device. It replaced a frontier modem which worked fine in bridge mode and due to some sherlock google sleuthing I was able to get into it and configure it to work.

Its not a ISP provided battery backup. Its a small APC unit that will cover the devices for an hour or so. Problem is the location is very rural and with winter storms and such.

Currently switched to Spectrum Fiber....Must better than previous cable company since they were no longer investing in our neighborhood.....Anyway, I've noticed every so often when power goes out and batter backup is depleted that the internet doesn't work. The spectrum modem is blue and working...

Use an application called "Putty" to "SSH" into your router's IP using your username/password. Then run the command mentioned in the documentation.

FYI, getting 96% with just diversion, 99% with ublock addon enabled AND diversion. Using Large as my blocking list type....

You may need to put their equipment into bridge mode. I have a provider that did something similar and I had to go into their router to setup a DMZ for my AC86u to sit behind it. All I wanted their equipment to do was pass mine internet.

AX86u unit here and mine is fine. Perhaps reinstall/force update spdmerlin?

The WAN port from your router is showing as 100Mbps? If so then I would think that's your problem there.

Ah, thanks for the detailed explanation and insight @RMerlin. Any way to reboot (other than service reboot) a router remotely? Normally I would use scmerlin to issue commands over putty but this unit would stop loading 1/2 the commands when that option is selected. @ColinTaylor The unit in...

I don't prefer it either but I have a remote unit that is accessible using putty but not the gui. Using the service restart httpd command does nothing as well as service reboot.

Anyone here upgrade the firmware without using the webpage GUI? If so can you provide the command lines used? Thanks!
