ping request time-out over WAN
Thanks for the help! Btw my router is an RT-AX88U. @eibgrad My router firewall is disabled but I did experiment with it enabled and the button on to respond to ping but seen no change. ping request time-out over WAN
I just spent 3 hours trying to figure out why my ping requests to my public IP address were timing out over WAN yet successful over LAN. Well..... I narrowed it down to the WAN - DMZ setting being configured! While it makes sense as explained in the description of this setting... I don't recall...- R0tten

How to read Asus Merlin Log file for WAN connection and drops?

Archer AX6000 vs R8000p x6s
Thank you for helping and the great site :). For the last 2 routers I had the R7000, which spanned out over about 5+ years. They were good to me for a while (small hiccups here and there).
