Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.4 is now available

Maybe it's too early for celebrations, but deactivating Smart Connect and using WPA2-Personal (only) on the 2.4GHz network, seams to have done the trick. Thanks.

Where would I find a more detailed changelog to what 37957 brings to the table?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.4 is now available

If got two AX86U Pro currently on 3006.102.4. Very clean install. Both routers have trouble with 2 specific devices connected to an IOT guest network. They will work for a time, than loose conection. To bring them back online I have to deactivate the 2.4GHz radio in the profesional tab - apply...

Current plans regarding separate version branches

@RMerlin Thank you for your ongoing support. I personally feel I've been spoiled by the over 10 years of support of AC68U, but reading this post it seems time has come to move on. My question: with your inside into CPUs, SDKs and Codebases - is there any indication of what router one could...

AC68U, v386.11, No internet access through VPN

Hello everyone, I have two VPN servers running on my home router AC68U with software 386.11. The first VPN server is LAN only to access my local files, the 2nd VPN server is Internet only to use my home IP to access specific services. Home access is working fine - Internet access is not...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.11 is now available for AC models

Managed to restore it from a previous version. So - this MIGHT be related with the fact that I reseted VPN Server 1. Was not expecting this behavior as VPN Server 2 was active.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.11 is now available for AC models

Lost all VPN username/password info after a forced powercycle (electricity was cut off). Surprisingly I restored the last configuration I saved after the last update 6 days ago and usernames/passwords did NOT come back. Anybody else exprerienced this? Will load older config saved directly...

    Is my 'modem' attackable?

So I've got a router provided by my ISP. The first day I got it, I disabled WIFI and configured a DMZ to my asus router which than provides all the network services I need, so it really works more as a modem than a router. My question is - as the firmware of that router is never updated - is...

[Discussion] Remove several OpenVPN clients from RT-AC68U to reduce high nvram usage

My two cents. I do still use AC68U as main routers on two different sites - they do everything I need and they are just the right size for me. Bigger/newer routers would require some mayor changes in my installation and there is no functionality gain I need right now. Also - everytime I check...
