    Been on previous firmware since Monday and no issues and also there is no DHCP 600secs lease time reported either as I mentioned in the top post so something is screwed with the latest firmware for me.

    No nothing around that time in the log, It's only at that point it lost connection and I had to reboot the router to restore my connection again. Never had this issue with the previous firmware.

    Yes it is always 600 secs lease time from what I can tell in the log.

    I did think that at first but it can't be because they said I do not need to set static IP in the router and to leave it as DHCP also my real IP has never changed since I purchased the fixed IP about a month or 2 ago.

    I think in your case I would have returned without waiting for the window to bypass also, I was warned about Asus's flaky routers with immature software except I never in a million years thought they would take this long to optimise it or maybe it never will be. Lesson learned for me anyway...
