[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 Beta is now available

I was trying to find a DoT provider that had pretty good filtering. AFAIK, OpenDNS doesn't have DoT at all, and Cloudflare and Google doesn't filter like Quad9.

    No, it's not necessary.

QOS Wan Packet Overhead Fiber Missing

You don't need to use FreshJR script period, because it's not going to fix this problem. If your line without QoS isn't hitting it's rated speed, then you have a problem probably between ONT and OLT/PON. Low signal is a common one. You should be asking the technicians for an error log, and...

Perfect, that's what I was looking for. For some reason, I was thinking that it was necessary to set DNSFilter to on. It sounded like it needed to be set globally for router and that it didn't filter to clients normally unless explicitly to On/Router.

Eric, Thanks for the quick fix. Works perfectly now. Super stable. I have a few questions though: 1) With DoT enabled, does this filter to the connected clients? Or is DNSFilter needed with "Router" setting on? If it's not, is it only for users who want clients to use a different DNS...

QOS Wan Packet Overhead Fiber Missing

What is your line provisioned for? If you do a speedtest without QoS on and get within 95% of what your line is rated for, you do not need to use anything but 0 for WAN Packet Overhead.

Which one did you have? Did the 5300 have the same problem of no GUI access after flash? Thought it was only 3100+87U.

Recovery flash usually requires a stock firmware. You can use any of the official ASUS ones. That's what I used, and then flashed back to Merlin 384.10_2. A few other people had this problem too. Please look into this!

Hi Eric, Great work! I've been very interested in this since you released it. I tried Alpha 4 a few days ago, but I was unable to access the GUI after a clean flash. Ended up having to do a recovery flash to stock to get it to work again. Would I experience the same problems with this Beta...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

Is Adaptive QoS fixed? Alpha 2/3, I was getting less than half of my upload speed and lots of bufferbloat using manual 100/100 and FQ_Codel.

    [Preview 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 early test builds

What kind of connection is it? Have you tried touching the WAN Packet Overhead?

What is your maximum throughput on both download and upload? And % would be worse, as there is no top end speed to compare it to.
