    ASUS ZENWIFI PRO ET12's & WiFI 6E

Yep. Just learned that. I should have simply Googled WiFI6 vs 6E and the answer would have been obvious! Thank you. :)

    ASUS ZENWIFI PRO ET12's & WiFI 6E

I have 2 ASUS ET12's , current firmware, all rebooted and previously fully reset. They are connected by Ethernet WIRED backhaul. All the devices being tested are within 6 feet of the main router (and about 50 feet away from the AI Mesh extended device on the other side of the house). They...

Any change to any WIFI device (binding to a mesh node or MAC/IP address binding) drops most all WiFI connections

What I used to judge it was in my Livingroom my iPhone 15 Pro Max gets close to 900Mbps but in the garage which is only 20 feet from the L/R (with the node turned off) I barely get 150Mbps. That’s why I went for the 2nd node. Yea, I could get away with 1 but ............. iPhones have no...

Any change to any WIFI device (binding to a mesh node or MAC/IP address binding) drops most all WiFI connections

Using 2 ET12's about 50 feet apart, Ethernet backhaul (with 3 walls in between). House is only 1250 SQ FT but coverage from the office (on far end of the house) to the garage is pretty lousy as I have 2 4K WiFi webcams, Garage Door opener, sprinker system controller and 2 WiFi bridges for...

Any change to any WIFI device (binding to a mesh node or MAC/IP address binding) drops most all WiFI connections

Great idea regarding the garage door opener. Never even crossed my mind especially considering I already have 2 of them for other (non-wifi) use. Of my 32 devices 15 are wired the rest can't be wired even if I wanted to. I even ran a wire from office to garage through a 2000 degree attic...

Any change to any WIFI device (binding to a mesh node or MAC/IP address binding) drops most all WiFI connections

Hmmmmm simple but ANNOYING! :D The worst part is one device (my Garage Door WiFi controller) never comes back online unless I climb a ladder and pull the power plug. I could turn off the breaker but that causes other issues. Either way a PITA which never occurred in my previous 2 mesh...

Any change to any WIFI device (binding to a mesh node or MAC/IP address binding) drops most all WiFI connections

When I make any change to any WIFI device like binding to a specific mesh node or MAC/IP address binding) right after I save ithe router drops most all Wi-Fi connections. They all do eventually come back but why does changing 1 device kill just about every other Wi-Fi device? I watch all 3 of...

XT12 WiFI band assignment to specific device(s)

I agree, all my, probably 20, connect without problem. This device (Flume Water Monitor) seems to have issues. Was hoping to avoid using multiple SSIDs just for these 2 WiFi bridges but that might be a thought just to test my theory although I would have runaround and change the WiFI...

XT12 WiFI band assignment to specific device(s)

Is there a way somewhere in the GUI to assign a specific WiFi band to a specific device by MAC? I am unable to configure 2 devices because they only work on 2.4G band and the company says I have to disable the other bands which is absurd. Every other 2.4G device (probably over 20 of them)...

ZEN WIFI Pro ET12 AIMesh (weird MAC address)

Yea DUH ... I meant MAC. I'll have to fix that. :D

ZEN WIFI Pro ET12 AIMesh (weird MAC address)

Nope .. there are 4 mac addresses inb each One for each band and one for the ET12 itself and they aren't even close. :(

ZEN WIFI Pro ET12 AIMesh (weird MAC address)

That and DNS were the only 2 changes I made. I've used 10.0.0.xxx forever (which is a real long time for me). Couldn't part with it.

ZEN WIFI Pro ET12 AIMesh (weird MAC address)

Yes. 10.0.0.1 LAN Strange part was when I blacklisted it's MAC my entire WIFI network immediately disappeared which leads me to believe it is somehow connected to the new Router & Mesh node yet I looked at all their posted MAC and IP addresses and this one isn't there. I will have to shut...

ZEN WIFI Pro ET12 AIMesh (weird MAC address)

Nope. Checked every device and all other items I own and they all matched up to list from previous router. This is an “extra” device that popped up after the new router was installed. That plus I always turn off all “private” address options on all my Apple devices but nothing else has...

ZEN WIFI Pro ET12 AIMesh (weird MAC address)

Hi ... just got a new ZEN WIFI Pro ET12 AIMesh.. Actually 2, the 2nd one is an AIMesh node vie ethernet backhaul. Previously had a GX-AX11000 Pro with an XT8 AIMsh node. Anyway, a strange MAC address has appeared 22:03:46:BB:0F:67 and for the life of me I can't figure out what it is. Every...
