Thanks i just keep using the existing firmware and wait for their update. Since i know what version of the firmware works and Asus router firmware downgrade is easy.
I have a TUF Gaming AX3000 got 2.4Ghz disconnect problem with my TP-Link HS100 smart plug with both latest FW_TUF_AX3000_300438645934 firmware and previous version FW_TUF_AX3000_300438645898 firmware, only fix is set the 2.4Ghz mode to 'Legacy' mode not 'Auto' or 'N only'. But legacy 2.4Ghz does...
I haven't update the Merlin version since 378.56_2 and heard that later version will not support overclock. 1200Mhz was very stable.
Will someone can provide an update method of overclock for the latest Merlin firmware ?
Thanks
My AC68u had max. download speed 7xxmbps and upload was 9xxmbps with my 1G broadband and default router settings. When direct plug the cable to my computer without the AC68U was 8xxmbps and upload was 9xxmbps. I think 7xxmbps was the max speed of the AC68u.
Anyone can set faster download speed...
I am using version 378.56_2 now and without major issues. If I upgrade to the latest 380.61, can I downgrade back to 378.56_2 if get any issues ? I heard before that new firmware cannot be downgrade.
Thanks
May be channel issue. My ac68u cannot excess 174Mbs on AC wifi if using 165 channel (tested using Laptop and desktop client same result), switch to channel 149 can reach back to 867Mbs on AC wifi.
Using Merlin firmware 378.56-2
Need JFFS script if running Merlin on v378.56 and beyond:

I overclocked my AC68u to 1200,800 running 378.56_2 without any issues
remember to add the line at the beginning:
#!/bin/sh
would reset to default if using telnet or ssh command. new firmware needs JFFS script
