    Don't mean to bump an old thread, but was just curious if anyone has or had an issue like this, or if anyone has any idea what they would have done in this situation.

    So, I guess the router doesn't need a secondary program installed, as I was able to upload a firmware to it after looking at the guide about clearing the NVRAM, then set the IP to the 192.168.1.10 on my computer, and it gave me the page that let me do it when I typed in the gateway IP.
