    my main node is GT-AX11000 Pro, and I updated my XT8s ( remote nodes) via Asus APP.

    I have no issue to update my 2 XT8 as nodes. wireless backhaul speed looks better than before. my PHY rate is 1700Mbps for both Transmit and Receive Rate.

    how is the 6G performance on WIFI 7 vs WIFI 6? 6E on WIFI6 has reallly bad penetration if there are walls while 5G-2 provides the best connection speed.

    yes, I did the same way. when I set channel bandwidth to 160Mhz and channel 173, I got solid connection.

    I have Firewalla+AX11000PRO + 2 XT8( bought from Facebook market for $200). this setup works great in my house and it provides the fastest connection ( I had EERO Pro 6 and Orbi before).

    only Asus knows it when it would be unlocked by firmware. XT8 has U-NII 4 added via firmware.

    THanks for the info. I probally need to dig into the "Media Bridge" setup. I think I set up last time ( a year ago) to connect to my EERO mesh network, but my AC88U kept freezing.
