ASUS RT-AX86 Open VPN No LAN Access

I tried the OpenVPN client on my wife's phone and it connected to our LAN devices perfectly well. It just doens't work on mine. I installed my company's software on my phone recently and I'm guessing that's the cause. I tried the WireGuard VPN Server and it worked like a charm :) Thank you all...

ASUS RT-AX86 Open VPN No LAN Access

The Asus router page - 192.168.1.1/Main_Login.asp and Homebridge Server - 192.168.1.175:8581/login I'm trying to access those through Safari Funny thing is I have the PiHelper app which connects to my raspberry pi's and shows stats about them - cpu, mem, disk etc. This app works fine when i'm...

ASUS RT-AX86 Open VPN No LAN Access

No VPN client on the router. I use ProtonVPN on my phone at times and it works fine (so my company's software on my phone is probably not the problem)

ASUS RT-AX86 Open VPN No LAN Access

I'm testing it through my iPhone connected to 5G. I'll try using another device to test it out. Maybe it is my company software on the iPhone that is blocking this. I use ProtonVPN too and it works just fine.

ASUS RT-AX86 Open VPN No LAN Access

I setup OpenVPN on ASUS RT-AX86 with a fresh install of Merlin. I am able to connect to the VPN but unable to access LAN devices. Should I setup port forwarding? I've done this in the past and it has worked like a charm, completely stumped this time. I can access external websites when...

    Slow wired speeds on RT-AX86U

@fifty : Did you resolve the issue? I've got Frontier 1 Gig symmetrical connection and I get 900+ download and about 300 upload. Previously when I was using the AX3000, I'd get 930+ up and down.

    Port Forwarding randomly stops working

Update : After a week of testing looks like asuscomm.com ddns was the culprit. After changing to NoIP I haven't had any downtime at all. Also my IP probably changed this week cause my old asuscomm ddns doesn't resolve anymore (after replacing it with noip)

    Port Forwarding randomly stops working

I changed the ddns provider to noip.com from the default asuscomm.com that Asus provides. I noticed that the old asuscomm.com dns name still works, I'm guessing they don't delete it from their system and it'll continue to work until my external ip changes.

    Port Forwarding randomly stops working

Thanks @ColinTaylor and @dosborne for your replies. It surprisingly didn't occur today, or maybe it went down and I didn't notice. I'll keep an eye out it if it happens again and try to troubleshoot.

    Port Forwarding randomly stops working

I have a server running on a raspberry pi on my network. The Pi has a static address (192.168.1.10) and the server port is 8504 I wanted to access the server from outside the network, so I setup port forwarding to forward external port 30180 to internal 192.168.1.10 : 8504 TCP I have the...

    Per Device DNS Setting

@cptnoblivious Thank you. I want to avoid too many points of failure, in your method, if pihole went down, my whole network would go down too. And I need adblocking only on my iPhone and a bunch of other devices, so I set their dns server to the pihole manually.
