    Thank you to everyone for your suggestions, I appreciate it. I also tried switching ports on the router. I will give it some time to hopefully correct itself. If not then I will probably do a full reset and set up with the next significant firmware upgrade. I'll update the thread as necessary.

    AC68U - (UK - Vodafone, Cityfibre) only 300Mbps downstream on gigabit line

    I have an AC68U connected to BT Fibre 500. The router speed test will never get above 320 Mbps. My desktop via Wifi has hit about 450.

    It's only £152 direct from Asus, so why is this so much cheaper than the GT-AX6000 and RT-AX86U Pro? Hideous looking thing but you could start by putting a coaster on the top I suppose. I really need a vertical form factor though.

    I have an RT-AC68U on the latest Merlin firmware (384.13) with the firewall enabled. I have no port forwarding for Vector. UPnP is off. Vector connects with no problem. I do have it on a static IP though.
