    New firmware still gave issues. Then i swithed wan tot 1gb lan port and the rest of mesh an switches to the 2.5 wan port and low and behold everything works great now. So the fix is switch to ethernet lan 1 under dual wan and enjoy a working gt6 system.

    There is finaly a firmware update that fixes a lot of issues according to the changelog. Let's see how it goes.

    I contacted asus about this, no help either. Even dong knows tells it in his review. No firmware update sind May this year. Looks like asus abondonded it right away. Don't buy this product it is a bad working system.

    My gt-ax6000 has been going down 1-2 times a day lately rebooting it works right away and all is good again.     GT-AX6000 with 2 GT6 best AImesh setup?

    I now have my system setup as ax6000 as main and g6 as wired nodes. Do I need to dissable the extra 5gz network on the nodes? Or no need to?

    I have some weird issues with my ax6000 and 2 ac86u as nodes. With stock firmware alle devices roam nicely and all iot connects fine. With merlin on the ax6000. I get really sticky devices and they won't roam correctly. Plus some 2.4 iot devices won't connect. I did both clean install and dirty...

    Just bought the gt-ax6000 will set that up as my main router. Then I will use the ac-86u as mesh routers. Will see how it goes.

    Asus AX89X still worth?

    I am in the same boat. I want to buy 2 new mesh routers to replace my old ac86u's. Do I buy 2x gt-ax6000 or 2 ax89x. The both cost 250$ now. What would you guys advise?
