    MoCA Network Analyzer

I use iperf to measure the bandwith, just run iperf server on one end and client on another. There is an android version called Magic Iperf that I use on my android TV boxes.

    Motorola MM1000 MoCA 2.0 Adapter

I just ordered a couple more of these and noticed they now include a POE filter and some screws for mounting the device. Don't think I need the filter with FIOS but it sure was nice of them just in case I do.

DIRECTV Broadband DECA Ethernet to Coax Adapter - Third Generation

Thanks Fyodor. I don't suppose you know if there are any specific hardware of software differences if I should get the non-Verizon variant like the Windstream or Frontier Arris NVG468MQ instead? There are versions of it being sold with a MEB1100 MoCA bridge, not sure why that additional piece...

DIRECTV Broadband DECA Ethernet to Coax Adapter - Third Generation

I'm tempted to get one of these routers so I'm hoping Fyodor can give us some pointers. I assume Verizon G1100 is the same as the Arris NVG468MQ, so I should be able to use this like any MoCA adapter on my FIOS. I am thinking of getting one instead of another Motorola MoCA adapter. The good...

Kiwee MoCA adapter with 4 gigabit ethernet ports

Thanks for sharing your experience. I am more interested in how reliable the devices are compared to its competitors. Looks like I will stick with a pair of Motorolas for 5 bucks more. I need to get an 8 port switch anyway so I will get that separately.

Kiwee MoCA adapter with 4 gigabit ethernet ports

https://kiweemoca.files.wordpress.com/2017/12/kb-m2-01-product-sheet.pdf The model number for the 4 port is KB-M2-04. These are sold on Amazon, I think, as a pair (one single port, one 4 port) for a very reasonable 99$. They've been on sale for over a year but hardly any review. Has anyone...

    Motorola MM1000 MoCA 2.0 Adapter

Aaaand it's back. Damn you Amazon Prime and your wonderful wares. EDIT: While I love how much cheaper these are to the Actiontec, there is another brand that sells for a few dollars cheaper called Kiwee Broadband. Anyone have any experience with these?

    Motorola MM1000 MoCA 2.0 Adapter

They sure are neat. I noticed they've suddenly gone 'unavailable' on Amazon as I was thinking of getting another one. I sure hope they're not getting pulled off for some stupid reason and just a temporary supply issue.

    Motorola MM1000 MoCA 2.0 Adapter

From what I can tell, these seem to be unmanaged/able adapters, totally plug and play, so you can't get into even a simple web page to view stats on these. It would have been nice for troubleshooting but I can't complain about the price.

Thinking of setting up MoCA 2.0 bridge under a MoCA 1.1 router

So Verizon tells me to pay them to 'upgrade' from their ancient STBs. Hmmm, screw that. Good news is, I managed to get MoCA 2.0 speeds after disabling the coax LAN link on the router. The bad news is, it seems like one leg of the 4 way split from the ONT is not cooperating, and it just...

Thinking of setting up MoCA 2.0 bridge under a MoCA 1.1 router

Yep. The STBs I can easily replace for free by going to the closest Verizon store but I'm trying to avoid having to buy or lease that new router of theirs. I'm going to try disabling the coax link on the Actiontec router first to see if that will fail over to the MoCA 2.0 adapter. As for the...

Thinking of setting up MoCA 2.0 bridge under a MoCA 1.1 router

Thanks, I was afraid of that. I'm not sure how I can do point to point or separate tree, but the easiest way for me is to return all the old equipment from Verizon, right? Router and STBs should be doable but what about the ONT? That shouldn't matter, right?

Thinking of setting up MoCA 2.0 bridge under a MoCA 1.1 router

I'm on FIOS with coax from the ONT to an Actiontec mi424wr and I'm trying to set up a couple of MoCA 2.0 adapters to run full or near gigE speeds inside my LAN using existing coax. Is this even possible by just setting up the MoCA 2.0 adapter as a MoCA bridge and disabling the MoCA LAN on the...
