    Tapatalk support

I have a level of comfort too when it comes to signing in. I can use individual forum passwords in Tapatalk, keeping each unique. I also use an ad blocker that filters trackers and beacons on my mobile and PC devices. That is, for however long a lifetime membership is. Lol. Just hoping that's...

    Tapatalk support

I've turned off the notification sounds in Tapatalk but kept the notifications in my phone's pulldown. I don't read the forums just because someone just posted but I use the notifications as a means to catch up and know if it's worthy of opening Tapatalk. Certainly helpful to know no one has...

    Complain here about Tapatalk removal

I'd like to add my request to restore Tapatalk access. Reasons: notifications and all my forums visited were all in one place until Sunday. Thanks for asking.

    Tapatalk support

Until this, I was using Tapatalk for all forums on my phone. I do see the hamburger pullout on left and notification bell icon on top of browser for mobile. No response from Tapatalk support. I'll just have to adapt, at least for now. Why would a forum choose to block access to Tapatalk?

I have the same issue. Reported this in Tapatalk beta discussion thread. No response yet. I'm gonna bump it again.

    ASUS ZenWiFi AX (XT8)

I'm not sure how to do that either. Maybe there's a telnet command for doing that? Whenever you're using the wireless or not, you can use the lan ports of the extension node. Seems you could have accomplished the desired result with a MoCa network integrated into your cable coax. Have you...

    Moca connection explanation

I don't know why MoCA wouldn't work for you? I looked a little more into MoCA 2.5 and docsis 3.1 and had to take a look at my MoCA splitter bandpass. My splitter supports both MoCA 2.5 and docsis 3.1 with its bandpass of 5-2300 MHz. MoCA up to 2.5 specification isn't all that wide but docsis...

    Moca connection explanation

Mine are Motorola MM1000 Bonded MoCa 2.0 adapters. I've had them for 2 years now; they seem as good as the day I installed them. MoCa 2.0 is 1 Gbps speed max. MoCa 2.5 is 2.5 Gbps but I've read some may not have but 1 Gbps Ethernet connectors. The slower speed and lesser expense is enough for...

    Moca connection explanation

My setup is very similar to the diagram posted that you're referring to. And I've got the Asus XT8 nodes connected with Ethernet backhaul as pictured and discussed as well. It works; the node shows the backhaul is Ethernet. But I've found the Asus Android mobile app cannot be used to connect...

    ZenWiFi XT8 new firmware 3.0.0.4.386_25524

Thanks. I'm not at home right now. But your mean check wireless log in the web portal? The connection to router from node should be wired Ethernet though. Right? I've had it my mind that wireless devices connected to the XT8 node are using 5G-1 or 5G-2 but once data gets to the node, uploaded...

    ZenWiFi XT8 new firmware 3.0.0.4.386_25524

Seems if I use the Asus Android mobile app to adjust 5G-2 settings, the Ethernet backhaul tends to get kicked back to radio backhaul. I have to go back into the web portal to prioritize the backhaul to Ethernet and reconfigure 5G-2. And for whatever reason, I thought I read that the 5G-2 had...

    Asus ZenWifi XT8 strangeness

I made the mistake of checking out the 5G-2 controls in the Asus mobile app for Android after update said bug fixes. It's still broken. But I didn't realize the app kicked me back to radio backhaul until next day. My Logitech Harmony hubs started playing whack-a-mole with connection to the Asus...

    ZenWiFi XT8 new firmware 3.0.0.4.386_25509

I'm curious about the nodes with Ethernet backhaul disconnecting. I had this issue day one with Ethernet backhaul. When I reset, I found I needed to pair the 2 again close together. So I brought them close together but paired only after connecting the Ethernet from LAN of router node to WAN of...

    ZenWifi XT8 AX Access Problem

I've been having issues with SiriusXM streaming on my Apple TV 4K. Mostly just the Pandora created stations. Sync may stop with or without a something went wrong notification. Pandora stations may just stop after song or only play one song and stop. Pandora and SiriusXM aren't truly integrated...

[Maylyn - Networking] ASUS ZenWiFi XT8

Yes; seems this could be the case if you're close to radar. Here's an in-depth article that may be of use to you. https://motorolacable.com/whitepapers/wifi-dfs Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
