Probably a stupid question, but can anybody explain what "Dirty upgrade" is? I suppose is to upgrade without doing a factory reset, but I'm not sure.

Perhaps you need to do a factory reset. I've updated from latest 3.0.0.4.388 version to the first 3.0.0.6.102 firmware release without issues. No factory reset in my case.
