    Release ASUS RT-AX55 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386_53244 (2025/06/20)

Thanks, I will probably keep this post up if someone want to download. I also noticed that my AX56Uv2 acting as a mesh node updated to it automatically but my AX55 didn't lol

A side note: I recently got the RT-AX56U v2 and it used the same firmware as RT-AX55. LAN works and everything else work just fine. Both is running 3.0.0.4.386_53119 firmware.

RT-AX89X - WiFi stops working after a long while/Cable works fine - reboot to resolve temporary

Don't know if this is correct but I got my RT-AX55 working by enabling air time fairness, don't know how but I think it might be something to do with my old J7 Prime and it only affect 2.4GHz. I used to have to schedule a re boot twice every week so you should do that also.

Solved Should I ditch Asus or go deeper into the rabit hole?

I did do more research and came to the conclusion that I couldn't reach a conclusion :v I'd probably stick to Asus (for now) and since my sister have a Tenda/Tp link router with some ZTE products (from ISP) I will probably buy her and test a TP link router when I visit her.

Solved Should I ditch Asus or go deeper into the rabit hole?

I talked to the contractor about ethernet cabling and made sure every room has at least two ethernet ports. Good thing is that it is actually covered by the contractor so I don't have to pay for a single dime more. I am tempted to do my own wiring later on but right now it is what it is as I...

Solved Should I ditch Asus or go deeper into the rabit hole?

I am already planning wired backhaul and probably 2.5GbE switch in the future. My ISP speed vary a lot but I generally got 300 Mbps and I am already on fiber.

Solved Should I ditch Asus or go deeper into the rabit hole?

I own an RT-N12+ since 2015 so I understand it. I just wish Asus supported easymesh along with their aimesh. Most of my country's ISPs used easymesh compatible devices from ZTE and Dasan which are available for cheap on the used market. On the other hand, I do live close to China and have access...

Solved Should I ditch Asus or go deeper into the rabit hole?

I am moving into a 4 story house soon and I currently have a Asus RT-AX55. The AX55 is fine as of now but I am afraid that I'm going to lock myself into Asus exclusive eco system but I also don't want to throw away a perfectly good router. Should I cut my lost and go with something more open...

Update: I managed to get it to work by changing from HTTPS to HTTP. It should be under Admin > System

What should I choose to upgrade my home network with?

I'm about to move into a 4 story house and currently having an RT-AX55. Due to living pretty close to China, I could get a bunch of Chinese RT-AX56Uv2 or even RT-AX3000 for relatively cheapish (used). My current ISP plan is about 500Mbps both up and down. Looking at max 15 clients. What...

    Release ASUS RT-AX55 / RT-AX57 / RT-AX3000P Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386_53119 (2025/04/01)

Don't know if this is a potential cause of the issue or not but I am running a Pi hole + unbound on a SBC which I set as the router default DNS server. I also port forwarded that same SBC so that I can use it as a NAS.
