Buying used patch panel for home use?

So I came to a dilemma of buying used and new.

Should I go for it? My cable are Cat6a F/UTP with max length probably going to be 50 meters max.
A keystone patch panel go for about 15 USD new but without any keystones so I will be looking at a bit more likely the 50 USD new.

1) can you return it , no fee, if there is obvious damage ?
2) can you source new punchdown terminations ?

If yes to both, then i'd go for it.

Sorry... not sure why return options were discussed above on $5 used item and what exactly is your question when the new item cost is equivalent to few visits to Starbucks and the item itself may be critical for your network's reliability and performance.

I forgot to mention I lived in Vietnam lol. Average salary is about 7 mil vnd which is about 300 USD so have to make everything count.

Understood, but savings on low cost items potentially impacting infrastructure reliability is not a good idea and I'm highly in doubt people with average salary and homes in Vietnam have 24-port patch panels on their wish list.

There are 24 port patch panels but from what I can tell it is for enterprise customers only, the one I found is from a used server rack from a company that just replaced it. Most of the time cheap patch panel and even server rack are available directly from China, I found someone selling 6U server rack for like 20 USD on local~ish shopping app and sure enough the installation video guide is in Chinese. That and I also managed to saved up a bit for this.
