My AC88U also got this problem, sometimes the 5G disappears and I'm forced to make some changes on 5G WIFI setting in order to make it restart the WIFI part or reboot the router. From my observation, the 5G would likely drop after using 5G to download large files, though I'm not 100% sure about...

For my AC88U, I can see the temperature in 380.65 beta, but it is displayed as 'disabled' again in the official release. I guess it is because only parts of Asus GPL 380_4180 is merged?

I got the similar problem with my AC-88U, sometimes the 5G wifi disappear..... System log shows nothing and I have to change some setting in 5G band to make it appear again.

Anyway solving this mystery is good enough for me :P But it's bad to know that the hardware revision matters to the MU-MIMO feature. I don't think many people would pay attention to that revision number....

No. The temperature problem is not that critical while I wish the site survey could work to let me explore the environment. Is there any commands available for checking the site survey thing just like '# wl -i eth1 phy_tempsense' for temperature?
