    Ok thanks for the info. Just seems strange it only happens on WiFi devices in my home. Is it 100% guaranteed working if I go to nordvp.com and it shows the correct VPN IP address and says you are protected?

    But then why when I ask Nord do they state the server isn't theirs? Also why does this only happen on WAN devices? My pc doesn't do this, extended DNS leak tests show the correct expected VPN result

    DNS is set in Asus router admin page to the nordvpn DNS addresses. I haven't changed DNS on WiFi devices since I'm thinking what is the need, if all traffic from each WiFi device is passing through the router which is supposedly passing all traffic through the VPN.     New router

    Hi Op I also have virgin but it's 350mb. I use my virgin router in modem mode and use asus rt ac86u. Works fine for me with merlin on. I also have a 68u in aimesh mode, again works fine. My use is 6x wireless cctv cameras, approx 10 devices and gaming on PC via ethernet.

    Ok thanks. So how do I know for sure then that this is just something to ignore, and that my vpn is actually working properly? It's funny how this issue only arises when I use merlin. On stock asus firmware it doesn't happen.

    This might sound stupid, but in the asus router login under VPN there is a few headers. VPN STATUS - Shows connected to openvpn. VPN CLIENT - Shows ON and connected.     The ISP is called data camp Ltd, based in Munich Germany. My phone is samsung galaxy s21 running android 12. My ip address on first page of dnsleaktest.com starts 105.xx.xx but when I click standard or extended test it shows ip as 195.xx.xx. I just find it bizarre that this only happens on my...

    For some reason ONLY on my mobile phone connected via WiFi, it shows a German DNS. The ip address doesn't match what any other website showing my ip shows. On ethernet standard and extended dns leak test both show the correct ip and no dns leak. Any idea why my phone does this?
