Thanks everyone for helping. I ultimately did a clean removal of Unbound based on some comments from Martineau in another thread, and now the install works without the fatal issue.

My config is the default, and checking a bunch of configs, to your point, "prefer" isn't anywhere. I'm baffled by where it's detecting this as again, I've just installed based on the default installation.

I've checked the unbound docs. I've got IPv6 disabled on my router, and I'm not sure why Unbound is thinking IPv6 is preferred - where is this being detected/checked?

Any idea why I'm getting: fatal error: cannot prefer and disable ip6, pointless "do-ip6 = no" in the config file and there is no "prefer" anywhere. What am I missing? Thanks.

Thanks for the input all. Problem solved with purchase of a new Moca splitter ( Holland GHS-PRO-M series). @krkaufman, my setup is as per your updated pic ... POE filter is before the new Holland Moca splitter at ISP (outside box). Everything lights up and I'm close to gig download speeds...

Correct.

Splitter is bi-directional. No sync once POE attached regardless of splitter (Cable providers or the Moca one). Not sure on what you're looking for from diag page so please tell me if more is required.

I replaced the outside cable provider Antronix splitter with a Starburst Moca 2.0 2-way splitter (5-1675MHz) and then the POE filter before it with no luck. Coax lights on ECB6200s will not come on. Could it be the splitter? Any recommended one to use? Or is there something else that might...

Not using currently. When I attempted to place one, it was before the ECB6200 in the basement, so at the main coax line in into the basement. When installed, I lose the coax light on the ECB6200. I've tried both a Holland MPOE-TM MoCA POE Filter and one that my cable provider had left behind.

When I originally posted I had a Starburst Moca 2.0 2 way splitter (5-1675MHz) before the ECB6200 in the basement. But then I lost the Coax connection earlier this morning (running fine for a week) so I removed it to get the connection back.
