DFS on RT-AC68U in the US?

I was wondering if it's somehow possible to enable use of the DFS channels on the RT-AC68U in the US. I've seen references to this working in other countries, but apparently not here. I ask because only the DFS channels are free of any neighboring access points where I live.

Need a repeater that will pass through IPv6 traffic

I live in a rented house, and the landlord would not give me permission to run Ethernet through the walls. I did try powerline, but was not satisfied with the performance. I tried the TP-Link TL-PA9020 kit, and only got about 150 Mbps connecting to my NAS through it. Whether this was due to old...

Need a repeater that will pass through IPv6 traffic

Because, unfortunately, it is impractical to run a cable to the second location.

Need a repeater that will pass through IPv6 traffic

I currently have two ASUS RT-AC68Us on my network, one of which is set up in repeater mode, and I am going to return it imminently since it seems to be unable to pass through IPv6 traffic. Devices get IPv6 addresses through the repeater, but are unable to reach anything. What should I buy instead?

[RT-AC68U] No IPv6 in Repeater mode

That seems odd, because I know I used WDS years ago with a pair of Linksys WRT54GLs and DD-WRT, and there's no way I wasn't using WPA at the time. In any case though, I need some solution. I'm considering returning the second RT-AC68U and getting something from another company, but I don't know...

[RT-AC68U] No IPv6 in Repeater mode

I tried using WDS last night instead of repeater mode, but couldn't get it to work with WPA2 encryption enabled. No matter what I did, the routers just would not bridge. I contacted ASUS, and they told me that WDS only works with WEP or open networks, which is insane! There is no way in hell I'm...

[RT-AC68U] No IPv6 in Repeater mode

I did. It was unreliable. Devices connected to the node would randomly lose their connection. Repeater mode actually seems to work reliably, but for some reason, IPv6 does not work over it.

[RT-AC68U] No IPv6 in Repeater mode

I have two RT-AC68Us on my network, one of them set up as a repeater, and I have noticed that IPv6 does not seem to work through the repeater. What do I need to do to fix this?

    RT-AC68U has no hostname?

Did some more testing. The hostname seems to be set to RT-AC68U if I enable telnet. If I disable telnet, it is not set. Why would this even make a difference?

    RT-AC68U has no hostname?

I have an RT-AC68U that is running the stock 3.0.0.4.380_3264 firmware, and I've been trying to get mysql running on it (via the mysql5 package available using ipkg). However, I'm running into issues regarding hostnames. It seems that my router has no hostname at all, as it shows up simply as...

Have I bricked my brand new TM-AC1900?

I just got a brand new TM-AC1900 today. I attempted to switch the CFE in order to flash the stock RT-AC68U firmware, and I thought I followed the directions properly (enable telnet, backup the old CFE, edit the new one with the 3 MAC addresses and the WPS code, and flash back). After flashing...
