    So far no problems with the latest firmware either on XT8. I had to run 5224 before because any firmware after that was causing my wired connections to jump back and fourth between the router and AI mesh node on the network map. This version finally does not have that problem.

    ZenWifi AX No 160mhz for backhaul

    Try setting the bandwith to only static 160 and change the control channel to 100. That has worked for some of us here.

    I understand this limitation now. My XT8 mesh 5G-1 channel will go up to 80 Mhz 1201 Mbps max. Glad to know its working perfectly. Only my AX-11000 can do 4804 Mbps @ 160 Mhz on the 5G-1 band.

    RT-AX88U Router + ZenWifi XT8 Nodes?

    I think if you have a dual band router and are going to connect it to the node via wifi it will share the 5g connection to the node so you'll still have 5g available to use on you router just less thoroughput.

    Thank you Gouldin for the winfi app (awesome) idea and the screenshots. I got both 5G-1 and 5G-2 working at 160 Mhz. Like yours, my mesh node for 5G-2 is 160 Mhz and the 5G-1 is at 80 Mhz on my AX-92U. Is it supposed to be 80 Mhz on the mesh? edit: I see only the 5G-2 on the mesh is AX...so...

    ASUS AX1100 and AIMesh

    Did you factory reset the mesh node before connecting to aiMesh? Some users have reported connection issues on the ROG router forum with the latest 7979 firmware . Did you try rolling back to the 6436 version ?
