2 WAN and 2 isolated LAN on single router advice needed.

I do think too this is not a very good idea, but this is what we get. The alternative I had objected against was just to put the server in home network and directly expose its RDP port to the internet. The server will be at that house and I just need to setup this somehow as best as it's...

    1. Both ISP are just ethernet cable entering the house. 2. Both "home" and "work" networks need to use both ISP's

2 WAN and 2 isolated LAN on single router advice needed.

A friend of mine decided to install his business-related server in his home. He has two ISP at home. One ISP provide 500mb+ of bandwitch, and second is solid 100mb for failover. Currently he have a mess of old routers in his house, two first floors are served with first ISP, two second are...

"The network cable is unplugged" on RT-AX88U@ .11

In our case, the OVPN server just can't get correct time and wait a long time, preventing WAN to show up.

So yeah, both problems are because of the OpenVPN server was enabled. After falling back on .10_2 and enabling the server after both problems disappear.

AND! Also disabling VPN server solved the problem with downgrading the firmware - now I'm on .10_2 Anyone interested in understanding what's going on here? :)

Well. Just disabling the OpenVPN server kind of solved the problem with the "link down". After reboot it now appear instantly. Looks like something is preventing OVPN to start in time the external link was not enabled until that. PS. So, the cable is good. There is a more sophisticated problem :(

And anyway, how could ethernet cable could prevent downgrading to the .10_2?

It's not a modem, it's direct ethernet connection into the provider's hardware, located outside of the appartment. And it's only 100Mbps. I would prefer the router to not even try 1Gbps for external link.

But there are no link issues! The cable works just fine. It's the router does not tries the cable for 10 minutes.

A lot's of changes, but they are on external entware USB stick and safely unplugged :) Rebinding all the DHCP adresses for all my infrustructure devices will be a pain though. Having homekit appliances to be offline during setup is another major pain :) Yes, that's the plan. But another problem...

Wow! Yep, I'm absolutelly sure the delay wasn't there. For example, on the first setup I was on the phone with my provider in order to register MAC address change and the connection attempts (indicated by red LED) was alsmost instant (comparing to this 10 minutes lag). Anyway, this logs you've...

Can't do that - the cable is mounted by provider and going outside of my appartments. It is working fine however - downloading torrents now at quite a high speed. Anyway, according to the docs about the LED indication - the router now isn't even trying to look for the cable for a good 10-14...
