    Moca connection explanation

I am in the UK so not sure if MOCA works here. I guess it would as I have COAX in the house for TV.

RT-AX92u manual settings for stable wireless connection

I have 3 AX92u in mesh without smart connect and separate SSIDs for 2.4 and 5G and I still get the ring buffer errors when heavy network traffic. They seem to have stabilised since the latest firmware and also changing the modularisation scheme on dedicated 5G to "up to MCS 11".

    ASUS - RT-AX92U - RED WAN LIGHT

I updated yesterday. It seems the latest version is a little more stable and have not observed the ring buffer errors, however, the router does still crash & restart itself as can see from the logs. Also still very noisy with wireless devices joining. Something related to non associated...

RT-AX92u manual settings for stable wireless connection

There is defiantly an issue either with firmware or hardware as I have had the lock up again with Red Light on WAN and errors as below in log. Only way to recover is a power off and on. Also noticed core 2 at 100% when this occurred. Mar 29 00:13:39 kernel: runner_get_pkt_from_ring:L137...

    ASUS - RT-AX92U - RED WAN LIGHT

Dont think so as previous asus routers all ok without this. The complete mesh system is non responsive. Log is crazy with connects and disconnect from wifi devices and also you will find:runner_get_pkt_from_ring:L137 Failed to allocate new ring buffer

Another one here:https://www.snbforums.com/threads/rt-ax92u-manual-settings-for-stable-wireless-connection.62417/ These are all related I believe to the same issue.

    ASUS - RT-AX92U - RED WAN LIGHT

I have the same issue and it seems like it is common. You will find in the logs errors relating to ring buffer. I am looking for a solution to and I do not believe anyone has found one yet. What seems to work is if you configure the additional router in repeater mode, however, you loose all...

Slow internet on latest firmware for RT-AX92u

I think the issue is relating to using AI Protection and Parental Controls.

Slow internet on latest firmware for RT-AX92u

I hope they find a fix. I prefer the aimesh setup as easier to manage including parental controls via the 3 units I have. Today seems to be stable so far on the latest firmware however not holding hopes high.

Slow internet on latest firmware for RT-AX92u

The issue seems to be with the WAN flapping, red WAN light and continuous WAN disconnects until a physical restart. Errors in Log show ring buffer errors. I have 3 of these and otherwise they are really good. May have to revert back to repeater mode as not sure why the mesh setup causes this.
