[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.18 and 384.13_10 is now available

I was hoping this update (384.18) would fix my client list problem in the network map, but it didn't. Asus's firmware has the same problem. My AX58U is bridged to my AX88U, and I updated both to the new firmware; but, none of the bridged clients nor the AX58U show on the AX88U client list...

Media Briged Clients Not Appearing on Client List (AX88U/AX58U)

I have an RT-AX88U as my primary router and an RT-AX58U as my media bridge; both are running the latest Merlin firmware (384.17). While the clients connect fine, they do not appear on the RT-AX88U's "client list" which makes port forwarding and other things annoying. Previously, I used an...

[RT-AC87U running 384.5] WAN MAC change not taking

I appreciate your replies. I might try re-flashing 384.5 or just wait for 384.7.

[RT-AC87U running 384.5] WAN MAC change not taking

I actually unplugged both the modem and router for about twenty minutes after I noticed it wasn't issued a new IP the first time. When I tried the old DD-WRT router I had lying around, I didn't wait and was issued a new IP immediately. I also went into the DD-WRT settings and changed the WAN...

[RT-AC87U running 384.5] WAN MAC change not taking

When I change the WAN MAC and apply settings, my RT-AC87U says that it is applied successfully and shows the different MAC; however, my modem doesn't issue a different IP address like it used to. I switched to an old router running DD-WRT with a different WAN MAC, and my IP address did indeed...

    [RT-AC87U running 384.5] 5GHz Guest Network doesn't work

After being upgraded to 384.5, my RT-AC87U's 5GHz guest network no longer works. The network doesn't show up on any of my devices that are 5GHz capable; it's like it's not even there. The 2.4GHz guest network option still works fine, but before upgrading to 384.5 I used 5GHz guest networks...

RT-N66U loses connection with latest firmware (380.69)

Unfortunately, I'm having this problem with 380.70 too on my media bridge RT-N66U. It loses connection after about 24 hours and has to be rebooted. Going back to 380.68_4 again.

RT-N66U media bridge loses connection with latest firmware (389.69_2)

I reported this problem previously with 380.69. I tried 389.6_2 like Pat57 in the following thread and the issue persists for me too: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/rt-n66u-loses-connection-with-latest-firmware-380-69.43042/page-2 The RT-N66U connects fine as a media bridge but then loses...

RT-N66U loses connection with latest firmware (380.69)

I tried 380.69_2 too and report the same issue still. The RT-N66U lost connection and had to be rebooted within about 24 hours. I went back to 380.68_4 for the media bridge RT-N66U.

RT-N66U loses connection with latest firmware (380.69)

After upgrading to 380.69, my media bridge RT-N66U loses the connection after 12 to 24 hours and has to be re-booted. It didn't used to do that. It's connected to my RT-AC87U as a media bridge for my PS4, smart TV, and a computer. I went back to the previous firmware for the RT-N66U...

    Blocking Websites

Thank you. I will look into that. I just tried it with yahoo and that worked. I didn't realize reddit was https:// It says it can't block https:// sites in the limitations. But, DD-WRT did block it on the old router unless they weren't a secure site then.

    Blocking Websites

I have the RT-AC87R running 380.57. On my old Buffalo router I used DD-WRT and was able to block websites. On this firmware there is a URL filter but it doesn't work for sites like reddit.com, or at least I haven't been able to get it to. I suspect it has something to do with the "Limitations...
