    WiFi7?

The real issue here is wide spread false advertising. Isn't false advertising prohibited by consumer protection laws in many countries? A person in another thread purchased ZenWiFi BT10 hoping to maximize MLO performance. This is what the advertisement for this model shows:

Does Unifi ever update their OpenVPN server software?

As far as I understand Ubiquiti and MikroTik code is based on specific version 3rd party software and this doesn't eliminate copyrights. What they change in their implementation remains unknown since both OS they develop are proprietary closed-source. The practice of updating components shortly...

Switch from Cable WAN to Fiber WAN

Fiber line is also shared with other subscribers. Common oversubscription ratio for most ISPs is >10:1. This means 2Gbps capacity is offered as "up to 2Gbps" to >10 customers. Some budget ISPs may have 50:1 oversubscription ratio. It starts with lower price offers and the service deteriorates...

    Scheduled reboot drops Internet connection

Okay... Networking is not plumbing. Careful when giving advice and you don't know details.

    Any beta release for BT10?

The authors of the article tested 25 different Wi-Fi 7 marketed devices from common brands to find they all only partially support the minimum required Alternating MLO and none supports Simultaneous MLO. Then in comments there is a link to Ubiquiti response on Reddit and turns out no single...

    Any beta release for BT10?

So it basically did pointless fancy Smart Connect over existing Smart Connect because this is what MLO in reality does with current generation hardware. I still think consumer users get lost in too many settings exposed and swim in an ocean in false advertising.

    Good, you've got lucky. 👍

    Scheduled reboot drops Internet connection

No. Most mobile operators block incoming connections with exception to specific ports. Your VPN server won't stop working, but you may not be able to access it from WAN. If it's working with whatever you currently use - you got lucky. Internet access only is not enough. If the server is behind...

    Any beta release for BT10?

ASUS have information about it in Support section: https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1053365/ What's the point of it in @JamiryoFC intended configuration with primary SSID/WPA2-Personal is another question. It must be in reverse - primary with WPA3 only and isolated guest with WPA2 only for...

    Scheduled reboot drops Internet connection

This will most likely happen with factory firmware as well. We have discussed the issue many times and it's often related to incompatibility between ISP provided equipment and ASUS routers. Make sure this company allows incoming connections. Most mobile operators don't. Your VPN idea may not...

    WiFi7?

Your U6-Enterprise APs still cost as much as U7-Pro-Max, more expensive than quite a few other U7 models and most likely will be supported beyond 2030. Don't waste your time even reading about Wi-Fi 7.

    WiFi7?

I have purchased 9x AX-class APs in last year or so. Skipping Wi-Fi 7 completely.

    Any beta release for BT10?

A fellow forum member posted a link to interesting article. Read it before you continue the "maximum MLO efficiency" optimization. There is a lot of false advertising around. Too late to save you money, but may save you time at least.

    Any beta release for BT10?

Most people would prefer public WAN IP (if available, some ISPs use private IPs, CG-NAT) for their own gateway (the ASUS in your case). Some ISPs don't have true bridge or passthrough mode. I don't know what options are available to you. Test PPPoE connection on the ASUS and see what happens...
