Tried eero 6 pro for a mesh network but its not working out as hoped

Are you sure? Im looking at it now and eero labs is under a different tab to that of eero secure. Also @eibgrad what makes mesh a fad, just interested in why you think that, I had a asus router previously and recently purchased erro pro 6 and its given me much better coverage in all areas of...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 beta is now available

How do I do this on iMac , safari browser? I know how to clear cache but dont really want to have to do that. "On first boot with 386.3, you must either force-refresh the browser page (shift-reload), or clear your browser cache. Failure to do so will prevent the new QR codes from being properly...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 is now available

Lol:D, it wasn't a typo, not been following the threads since I installed 386.1_2. Not installed yet, might do it next week now, been quite happy on current firmware, up time of 44 days here.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 is now available

Currently on 386.1_2, when I first installed this firmware I disabled the trend micro Ai protection just to make sure things were stable. I actually forgot to enable it again! Is the Ai protection still considered a good thing to have enabled or does it cause more trouble than it's worth? I...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

If I do a dirty upgrade from 386.1 to 386.1_2, should I do a format JFFS at next reboot, or is that not necessary? Thanks

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

I upgraded from 384.18 to 386.1, I skipped 384.19 entirely. I done a reset as well. Have you got or tried setting 2.4ghz to 20mhz only, and turning off all the universal beamforming stuff?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

@Matthew Patrick Hi I thought I would give you an update on 2.4ghz wifi stability on 386.1 on my ac86u, its been stable since updating, now at 6 days uptime. I know that doesn't really help you though! I don't currently have any features enabled like AiProtection or guest networks.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

Checked this morning, router stable since update with 20hrs uptime and 2.4ghz has been stable for the same. Looking good so far.

    AiProtection: GUI always shows 0

So is it better to just disable this feature now? Always had it enabled, but currently have it off since upgrading to merlins 386.1, don't like to enable everything in one go after an update, but I might just leave this disabled.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

Updated, I will now see how 2.4ghz is over the next few days, I currently have left a few things disabled that I normally run, such as Ai protection and a guest network, I will gradually introduce them. Is there anywhere on the router that I can view, to be able to tell if 2.4ghz has dropped...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

Ok sorted the issue of JFFS nearly full alert as I posted above. I did another reset, this time via the GUI, checking initialise all settings. All fine now. Originally I had done hard reset at the router.
