    That's what I'm thinking. I came here in case someone had some secret command to fix it all, but I'm pretty sure it's a hardware failure. Thanks for the help, though!

    Yes. After installing the firmware I wipe the nvram and configure by hand.

    I've done both. I've tried the oldest firmware, the newest, the next-to-newest, doing a factory reset in between each. No difference in any case.

    Am I crazy or do I have a hardware issue? I can only get the 5G network operating on my AC3100. The weird part is that, in the web interface, the 2.4G settings page controls the 5G network, and the 5G network simply shows channel 0 and no settings take effect.
