What's Missing From Your Wi-Fi 6 Router? OFDMA

After reading the article my question would be: Due to the complexity of OFDMA, will it ever be reliable and produce real world benefits?

    RT-AC3200 f/w 3.0.0.4_382_51634 issues

This f/w is being offered up in the router interface and on the ASUS UK website. It doesn't work well. All 3 wifi bands were stuck on 20MHz width. Rebooting or changing wifi settings did not fix the issue. I reverted back to 3.0.0.4.382.51374 and everything is back to normal.

    RT-AC3200 Current Official Firmware Thread (3.0.0.4.382.50624, 180601)

oh yes this is way better than 3.0.0.4_382_18338. Seems more stable and the GUI bug with the client list is fixed.

    AC3200 3.0.0.4.382.18338 - 382 and KRACK fix!

Didn't help i'm afraid. It's actually worse than I thought. Amazon Echo Dot is on 5G-1, VM102 and VM103 are on 5G-2. Maybe I will try a full reset and re-enter all the setting manually :(

    AC3200 3.0.0.4.382.18338 - 382 and KRACK fix!

Did the update to 3.0.0.4.382.18338 yesterday and only found 1 minor issue. My Amazon Echo Dot, connected to 5G-1, is showing up as a wired device. Refreshed the device list, it's still shown as wired. Very strange.

Why can't I set a channel for 2.4g other than 36/40/44/48? (bad radio?)

That router GUI is messed up. 2.4G channels are from 1 to 14 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels

Stupid ISP tricks - DHCP ranges

All very interesting but if we lose NAT with it's firewall effect (talking home routers here) doesn't that leave the computers naked to the horrors of the open internet? Hackers will think it's xmas big time!

    ASUS RT-AC3200 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.380.3479

Uptime 9 days 1 hours 36 minute(s) 29 seconds. 78MB ram in use. No stabilty issues so far, WiFi working very well. For those with issues, did you a full NVRAM clear after the update? You can't use settings backup from previous firmware versions, you need to re-enter all your settings manually.

Should the SNB standard test client support 256 QAM in 2.4 GHz?

I would be very interested to see if QAM256 (on 2.4Ghz) actually works. Could be a failure, could be enlightening. Still would like to see the results.

Disable 'U-APSD support' that fixed the disconnection problems for me.
