Thanks ! This is how it shows for me as well. I found that I can disable the radios of the AiMesh router under Wireless > Professional without impacting the radios of the Aimesh nodes.
I have a RT-BE92U as my Aimesh router and 2x ZenWifi Pro ET12 and 1x RT-AX88U Pro as Aimesh nodes.
How does this mix influences the WiFi availability? I see a low strength on the 6G band even though I am only 3m away from the ZenWiFi Pro ET12 which seems to suggest my iPhone is connecting to...
Until a few days ago I was using the ASUS ZenWifi Pro ET12 as my AiMesh router running the latest firmware 3.0.0.6.102 firmware and it did do proper Internet Speed measurement.
My IPv6 connection type is v6plus. I used to have a stable internet connection when I was using a Japanese Buffalo router, but after moving to the ASUS RT-BE92U, the connection seems to time out. I am using the latest official ASUS firmware 3.0.0.6.102_38961...
While on previous ASUS routers I could see the Internet Speed under the QOS menu, I only see the following on my new RT-BE92U router. Is there something I need to set up?

No manual is available for the ASUS RT-AX88U Pro, possibly because of the new ASUSWRT 5.0 firmware. Which router (with a manual) would be the closed match?
When I connect ASUS ZenWifi XT8 (3.0.0.4.388_21099) directly through an ethernet cable to an ASUS RT-AC1900P (3.0.0.4.386_49703) Aimesh node, it shows the RT-AC1900P backhaul is using the ethernet connection. However, when I put a Netgear switch in between, it uses a wireless 5G backhaul.
Why...
I have an Asus ZenWifi AX (XT8) with the 2.5G WAN port connected to a 10G ONU port. The ONU seems to indicate a link has been established, but the Asus system log has a message which says WAN down.
I can see the following messages in the syslog which I assume relate to the LAN ports
