    RT-AC87U: robocfg causing router restart

Yes, I've done hard factory reset, reconfigured the router, and the problem still occurs.

    RT-AC87U: robocfg causing router restart

I have an RT-AC87U, which I'm quite happy with, even though I know it's an older device. I've attempted to configure it to use VLANs, following https://www.snbforums.com/threads/force-lan-port-4-to-use-the-guest-network-for-asus-merlin-rt-ac68u.18969/ However, whenever I try to run a robocfg...

    Netgear R7500v2, R7800 + R8500 have shown up

This could be a real game changer, either for good or bad, but if that's the case, why isn't it advertised as an AC4300 router (800 + 3466)? Shouldn't double channel width mean double transmission speed, at least in theory?

How To Crack WPA / WPA2

For fun :) Pretty interesting article, but I think WPS vector CaptainSTX mentioned is way more efficient and common than cracking WPA directly.

802.11ac performances are very disappointing compared to AC1750 routers - I expected much bigger gain from the new generation. EA6900 numbers coming any time soon?

    Netgear R7000 Gaming Router?

I actually like the design, but "gaming" in it's description is big warning light for me.

Wow, this is nowhere near as expensive as I expected. Definitely getting one!

    Rt-ac68u

Usually €1 in Europe becomes $1 in the US, so I'd expect something around $300-$350 like in the rest of VAT free world (which is still too much in my opinion, unless it delivers some mindblowing performance ;))

Announce a product, with a retail release date. How hard can it be?

What is the point of implementing a 802.11n tweak, which can be used only if both router and client are 802.11ac models? :D

Any news about 11AC performance? Is it faster than RT-AC66U?

    Netgear R6300v2 review

Right, but they could have improved firmware, drivers or something. Basically every Broadcom based AC router has BCM4360 radio, but their performances still vary

    Netgear R6300v2 review

http://forum1.netgear.com/showthread.php?t=83072 Also confirmed by a friend of mine, who got his V1 replaced with V2 after RMA

    Netgear R6300v2 review

Any chance? From what I've heard it's significantly improved, faster CPU, better performance, slimmer case - would love to see a review from SNB :)

Wow, this price is harsh, considering that now you can get a decent mid-range router like C7 for a half of that. I hope it will at least deliver some mind-blowing performance to justify such expense.
