I’ve been unable to install dnscrypt since I got amtm. Decided to post what happens. Has this happened to anyone , and is it something to do with the AC86U’s firmware.

Would this mean there are other hosts on that interface's network*,if looking at the arp-scan output. If so, is this something to be concerned about (duplicate hosts being generated or something to that effect).
To expand, I get multiple arp entries when conducting the ‘arp-scan’ command on my eth0 interface for my router.
However none of these entries are seen when using ‘arp’. I've transcribed a rough example from my ssh session.
arp-scan - I eth0 -l

Okay Colin, appreciate you going out of your way to instruct me on this and drop some insight. i admit I jumped the shark a bit with Iptables, and as such didn’t have a good understanding of how it works.
Hi sorry Colin I don’t seem to follow in regards to the rule: does the rule have to be stated before the chain is defined.
Is it due to the interface argument. Would this be correct:
Regarding the ip range, I was testing to see if I could block a range of devices on my LAN . Wouldn’t...
Hi my apologies Colin I seemed to have found the rule. Perhaps I didn’t check properly. Is there anyway I can close the question.
Sorry for wasting time* and thanks for the quick response
A rule I’m trying to implement:
I’ve tried checking it using a list of commands I found online:
I understand that rules don’t persist on reboot, however these rules I applied and checked in one shell session
to expand on the title, I keep making rules however when I go to check them they arent there.
Are they being overwritten by AMTM scripts? I can list what I have installed if this is a possibility
To expand on the title, I picked up some random packets while running tcpdump for my wl0 2.4ghz interface.
These packets seem to refer to other wireless devices inferred from the packet data. No IPs or any identifiers, just my router’s MAC addr in each packet header. Is this just random AP...
Hi there,
To expand on the subject header; I'm a beginner to home networking and looking to start learning about automated scripting. I've installed amtm through an external USB and I am fairly familiar with navigating around preset scripts and packages (Diversion, Entware).
Was wondering...
Hi Colin, was referring to my attempt to chmod the scripts folder but i think i used the syntax wrong so ignore that apologies.
Dave14305's solution worked. Thanks a megaton
