    Entropy Pool

Do the ARM versions not have a hardware module that can be enabled like on the RaspberryPi and then make use of /dev/hwrng? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Entropy Pool

/dev/urandom Check my first post where I had an example of the service script. Doesn't it work the same in asuswrt? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Entropy Pool

Well, I requested that it be added to entware-ng, which eventually did happen. But before it was added, I moved from Asuswrt to pfSense; so I never tested it. I would imagine that the service script works the same as all the others though? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Netdata Monitoring

Maybe your file name is different. Do a list of /etc/init.d/ and check what all is there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Netdata Monitoring

I think the package may only be for ARM devices, and the N66U is MIPS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

pfSense/Sophos vs ASUSWRT/RMerlin - Is there any reason to change?

Ah okay, my mistake. Well I see that there is a SSL Site-to-Site VPN, which is using the same general settings that I setup for the SSL Server, can setup as client and lets you upload the config file, never tried it myself though. I have a PrivateTunnel account. I'll test it out later and...

pfSense/Sophos vs ASUSWRT/RMerlin - Is there any reason to change?

Yes it does. It's called SSL VPN. Once configured, you just login with your user account to the user portal from your phone or what ever and download the .ovpn file. Couldn't be easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

pfSense/Sophos vs ASUSWRT/RMerlin - Is there any reason to change?

Internal. Annoying if you use IPv6 as well internally. But that limit has been removed with the upgrade to Sophos XG. With XG, the limit is only on the resourcing (CPU, memory etc.). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    dropping all-systems.mcast.net from Asuswrt Router

Yeah I figured as much and I made a rule to allow it from that MAC address. I was more curios as to why the source was "192.168.1.1" when that range is not even in use anywhere on the network... Unless this is always what's shown? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    dropping all-systems.mcast.net from Asuswrt Router

Hey guys, SO I noticed on my firewall that it seems to be blocking a lot of IGMP requests from my RT-AC87U (AP mode - 380.63_2) to all-systems.mcast.net. I checked the source mac address to confirm that it's the RT-AC87U, although the IP address in use if completely wrong, that's the default IP...

I had it a few times in the beginning. But actually since then, it's never dropped once... not sure what it may have been? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
