    I contacted Asus support. I told them what was happening, they didn't bother troubleshooting. They just sent me an RMA form lol

    Update: it was significantly worse on wired backhaul. not only did it disconnect WAN but ping response times went through the roof for several minutes afterward. I will see if I can reach out to asus support. I doubt this is still under warranty but maybe they would have some other way to help...

    with stock firmware the issue is sill persisting. I will attempt with wired backhaul. if not, I guess I'm SoL with a defective node.

    I seem to be having a new problem , I cannot sync the node to the mesh. Even if i move it and connect it wired to the router, the router sees it as a client but will not connect it as a mesh node. edit: was able to get it connected after another factory reset

    correct, i flashed to that original old stock firmware as troubleshooting. that is what was originally working until my most recent firmware upgrades when this issues happened. i'll try

    When I did a factory reset yesterday I flashed firmware for both the router and the node to the original version you linked and I still had issues. im going to attempt another reset of the node and will try that firmware again

    @ColinTaylor readding the satellite to the mesh with no devices connected to it reproduces the error. it seems there must be an issue with the unit? I factory reset it when I did a reset yesterday.

    @ColinTaylor Update- no disconnect after removing the satellite from the mesh! so the issue is either with the satellite or with the devices connected to it. There are no permanent wireless devices and only 2 Wired devices and xbox series x and a Nvidia Shield. I will readd the unit to the...

    wireless using 5.2 as dedicated backhaul ive removed the node and powered it off. only 10 minutes until the next occurrence of disconnect happens 12:45 CT since the last was 12:25CT. I will update then.

    it is named as a .txt files likes my previous logs uploaded. I can't even post a snippet of the log as a comment for some reason either. i uploaded it per colins suggestion
