I checked in my previously extracted folder (FW_ZENWIFI_XT8_300438643181) and there was a different file inside along with the newly extracted Zenwifi one, both exactly the same size. RT-AX95Q_3.0.0.4_386_43181-g6099e58_cferom_puresqubi (original)...

At the moment I just have a single unit set up in Wireless router mode and I've been having major problems this week. I've had to hard reboot the router everyday to get any sort of connection and it does seem to have started when I got an Echo Dot. I have now restricted the Dot to the 2.4ghz...

    ZenWiFi XT8 Issue

I only have one at the moment but do have to reboot the router after about 5 days or so, I have now scheduled a reboot twice a week. It's the kind of thing that seems to happen with newer routers So I'm just waiting for some new firmware that sorts it out

ASUS RT-AC5300 poor speeds on 2.4Ghz

The analyser says 1-3 are the best round here so it doesnt clash with the other routers in range. I've just sat next to the router with my phone and the most I cant get on 2.4 is 13mbps whereas the 5G-2 is 780 mbps

    Which router allows USB hubs?

Unfortunately I can't confirm that for sure, I bought a 4-port hub in the hope that the router would support more than 1 USB 3.0 drive. I found that it would support 1 USB 3.0 and 3 USB 2.0 devices as that's all I had at the time. Going out on a limb, I would say yes it would do more but don't...

RT-AC68U, MAC Filter and PS4 Woes

I've recently come across a headscratching problem with my PS4 and the wireless MAC filter. I've regularly been getting network disconnections on the PS4, I've tried putting it in the DMZ, enabled uPnP and forwarded many ports corresponding to the PS4 needs on the network and had no luck. Only...

RT-AC68U USB 3.0 more than one drive?

I have a 2Tb hard drive connected to the USB 3 port on the router and I'm thinking of adding a 2nd drive. Obviously I'd prefer to use the USB 3 port, I'm just wondering if it's possible to use a USB hub to add more than one drive to the USB 3 port?
