    i found the web page resources and that's not the cause of the issue on may router. when i directly run transmission-daemon instead of the init.d script, it says libevent-2.1.so.7 is missing, after install the lib file transmission can run and alive

    hi TeHashX, thank you, i didn't work on it for a while, today i follow the sequence show in http://forums.smallnetbuilder.com/showthread.php?t=18879 and it worked. there were still some errors saying unrecognized symbol, after i cleared unnecessary options in selecting the sound card modules...

    well, in asuswrt-merlin/release/src-rt-6.x.4708/linux/linux-2.6/sound, there isn't .dep file, i found "modules.order" and "modules.builtin" but their size are both 0 byte, does it means no order limit? i'm considering maybe other than the ko file, it may need other code need to be compiled...

    hi TeHashX, many thanks for your comment, i just tried simple make, like "make rt-ac68u", compilation passed but the sound src was not compiled, snd*.ko files were not generated. i will try your later comment, many thanks.
